The Addis Ababa city administration handed over 250 million birr in kind and financial support to the state government today.
The support is mainly animal fodder, nutritious food for children and mothers, various food products, drinking water, water supply stations and various consumer goods.
Mayor Adanech Abiebie, who said that we should stand by the generous people of Borena in this time of need, thanked the investors, the residents of our city and the leaders at all levels.
The deputy leader of the Oromia region, Mr. Awolu Abdi, who received the aid, thanked the Addis Ababa city administration for its immediate support.
