PM Welcomes U.S. Delegation for Substantive Discussions.

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) welcomed and engaged in substantive discussions with U.S. delegation, comprising Molly Phee, Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs at the US Department of State, Ambassador Mike Hammer, US Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa, and U.S. Ambassador to Ethiopia, Ervin J. Massinga.

The meeting, characterized by an atmosphere of diplomatic camaraderie, delved into a spectrum of regional and multilateral matters of paramount importance. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, articulated the significance of fostering robust relationships between Ethiopia and the United States.

Reflecting on the fruitful engagement, the Prime Minister took to his social media platform to convey his sentiments, stating, "This morning, I had the privilege of hosting Molly Phee from the US Department of State and Ambassador Michael Hammer, US Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa, for a comprehensive discussion on pivotal regional and multilateral issues."
