Today, we held a productive discussion with H.E. Ruslan Nasibov, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Ethiopia, and Mr. Oumar Sylla, the UN-HABITAT Regional Director for Africa. Our talks centered on Addis Ababa’s participation in the upcoming World Urban Forum in Baku, Azerbaijan.

This forum presents a significant opportunity for Addis Ababa to share its urban development milestones with the international community and further strengthen its global footprint. Furthermore, we held fruitful deliberations on drawing lessons from Baku’s experience as Ethiopia prepares to host the future International Climate Change Conference (COP 32).
