• On August 25, 2026, Mayor Adanech Abiebie joined Sir Chris Hohn, Founder and Board Chairman of the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), and his delegation for a tour of the Lenegewa Women’s Rehabilitation and Skills Development Center. Established in 2024, the center is a visionary initiative designed to empower vulnerable women, restore their dignity, and improve their livelihoods. Over five cohorts, it has successfully trained and deployed 3,259 women across various professional fields.
